There is alot of things going on in admin.pl that I only now really noticed.
Some things like:
News editing? Topics and the likes. modifynews modifynews2 modifynews3 These might be more useful in the new editor.pl file I am working on which seperates the editor code within web-app to a new editor.pl file which would allow for easier integration of wysiwyg editors in the future.
shouldnt this all be a part of poll.cgi or poll.pl??? polladmin createpoll editpoll editpoll2 editpoll2a editpoll3 resetpoll deletepoll
Just a thought here... I see the ease of leaving this as-is, but I also see this being a major factor to making the script Modular".
don't forget the forum admin subs there. I wonder where they should go. How about all the other admin stuff that's kept in the admin folder? What's up with that. I like where this is going but I was thinking (for DSBapp) about setting up one index.cgi in the admin folder to use all associated .pl files and moving some of the admin stiff out of the cgi-lib too. I would do this for security reasons. I don't want guests using part of a file that contains admin subs. I'm funny that way.
