Asus TP300L touchpad not working fix

seems the Asus Smart Gestures app likes to corrupt itself on Windows 10...   there were various fixes... but for me none of them worked...   the Windows 10 update wouldn't install due to the software being installed already...  yet it still wasn't working. my fix was a simple one...  uninstall Asus Smart Gestures completely... restart your machine... then install the windows 10 update of Asus Smart Gestures...   rebooted the machine and after a few minutes the touchpad began working properly again!!! Hello two-finger scrolling and more!!!!
